The Seaview Suite: Romantic Views and Top-Floor Privacy

The Seaview Suite offers a luxurious and private experience, encompassing the entire top floor of the guesthouse. Ideal for two adults, this suite is a haven of relaxation, boasting expansive views of Bulli Beach to the South/East and the dramatic Illawarra Escarpment to the West.

Accommodating Families


While primarily a couples' retreat, the suite can accommodate up to four guests (maximum two adults). The spacious loungeroom includes a double fold-out sofa, suitable for young children or a single teenager. The loungeroom also features a 55-inch Smart TV.

Important Notes for Guests

  • Access: Please note that to access this top-floor suite and enjoy the views and privacy, guests must climb two flights of stairs.
  • Size: The suite offers a generous 64m² of living space.
  • Pets: The Seaview Suite is not pet friendly. Please inquire about the pet-friendly Garden Suite or Point Bulli options.

The Garden Suite offers guests the serenity and space of the entire ground floor at Southview Guesthouse. While it doesn't offer ocean views, it provides a very private and tranquil escape with a fully enclosed courtyard—perfect for relaxation and pets.

  • Heating and Cooling: Stay comfortable year-round with reverse-cycle air-conditioning in the living room, a ceiling fan in the bedroom, and a Rinnai 26 gas heater to warm all rooms during winter months.
  • Ensuite: The private ensuite features a large, open shower, which is a convenient feature for many guests.

Private Outdoor Oasis

The living room's large bi-fold doors open directly onto your private, paved courtyard. This exclusive space, featuring a water feature and a BBQ, is perfect for enjoying a morning coffee, reading, or relaxing in tranquil surroundings on a summer evening.

Pet-Friendly Policy

The Garden Suite is pet friendly on request, making it a highly desirable choice for guests who travel with their furry companion. If unavailable, please inquire about the pet-friendly Point Bulli duplex.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need, and a few cooking starters are supplied in the pantry. We also have a range of teas and a Nespresso pod machine. There is a double fold out sofa in the living room suitable for young children or a single teenager. There is also a 42inch smart tv with Netflix.
From the living room large bi-fold doors open out onto your paved courtyard with a water feature. From your private courtyard relax in tranquil surroundings as you read the newspaper with a nice hot cuppa or strike up a BBQ on those balmy summer evenings. 
The Garden suite is pet friendly on request. If our pet friendly Garden suite is not available, please enquire about our pet friendly 2-bedroom duplex, Point Bulli. 
The Garden suite is 57m2.

If you book the Stopover room, you will be overlooking the pool area and back yard garden and have your own private studio room. The StopOver room is for guests who do not need a kitchen or eating facilities. It is a hotel style room with a mini fridge, Nespresso pod machine and a variety of teas. We can offer you a microwave and /or toaster on request. The StopOver room has a king size bed, suitable for a maximum of 2 guests, there is a 32-inch smart tv with Netflix, small sitting area, ensuite with overhead rain shower and small outdoor deck. The StopOver room is not pet friendly.

  • Features: Includes full kitchen, luxurious amenities, and is perfect for a couples’ retreat (sleeps up to 2 adults + 2 children).

2. The Garden Suite (Fully Self-Contained)

  • Ground Floor: Offers easy access, a very private fully enclosed courtyard, and is pet friendly upon request (sleeps up to 2 adults + 2 children).
  • Features: Includes full kitchen and private outdoor living.

3. The StopOver Room . Currently unavailable

All accommodations are fully private and separate, each with its own entrance.
