Seaview Suite

Luxurious accommodation on the top level of our 4-storey split level house.

Sea View Suite
When you book the Seaview suite you will have the entire top floor to yourself, offering views of Bulli beach to the South and East and Escarpment views to the West. The Seaview suite is suitable for two adults. We do allow an additional 2 children, which can utilise the fold out in the loungeroom. A total of 4 guests with a maximum of 2 adults. There is a spacious bedroom with a king size four post bed, 32-inch smart tv with Netflix. Wake up to views of Bulli beach from your bedroom window. In the private ensuite why not enjoy a bit of romance and wine in the double hydrotherapy spa bath. There is reverse cycle air-conditioning and ceiling fans in both the bedroom and loungeroom. The Seaview suite is also equipped with a 2 in 1 front load washing machine/dryer. There is a double fold out sofa in the loungeroom suitable for young children or a single teenager. The loungeroom opens onto your private balcony through large glass sliding doors. There is also a 55inch smart tv with Netflix. Strike up a BBQ on the wrap around balcony, while enjoying the spectacular views or feel the serenity as you hear native birds sing while resting in your deck chair or sipping a Nespresso coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need, and a few cooking starters are supplied in the pantry. We also have a range of teas and a Nespresso pod machine. To enjoy these views and privacy you will need to climb two flights of stairs. The Seaview suite is not pet friendly. Elegant and stylish accommodation on ground floor of our 4-storey split level house.

Garden Suite
As the Garden suite is on the ground floor there are no views, but you do have a very private, fully enclosed courtyard. When you book the Garden suite you are booking the entire ground floor. The Garden suite is suitable for two adults. We do allow an additional 2 children which can utilise the fold out in the living room. A total of 4 guests with a maximum of 2 adults. The bedroom has a queen size bed, 32-inch smart tv with Netflix. The ensuite has a large open shower. There is reverse cycle air-conditioning in the living room and a ceiling fan in the bedroom, for those winter months there is also a Rinnai 26 gas heater that heats all rooms. The Garden suite is also equipped with a 2 in 1 front load washing machine/dryer. 
The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need, and a few cooking starters are supplied in the pantry. We also have a range of teas and a Nespresso pod machine. There is a double fold out sofa in the living room suitable for young children or a single teenager. There is also a 42inch smart tv with Netflix.
From the living room large bi-fold doors open out onto your paved courtyard with a water feature. From your private courtyard relax in tranquil surroundings as you read the newspaper with a nice hot cuppa or strike up a BBQ on those balmy summer evenings. 
The Garden suite is pet friendly on request. If our pet friendly Garden suite is not available, please enquire about our pet friendly 2-bedroom duplex, Point Bulli. 
The Garden suite is 57m2.

The StopOver room is located at the back of Southview Guesthouse on the ground floor.

StopOver Room
If you book the Stopover room, you will be overlooking the pool area and back yard garden and have your own private studio room. The StopOver room is for guests who do not need a kitchen or eating facilities. It is a hotel style room with a mini fridge, Nespresso pod machine and a variety of teas. We can offer you a microwave and /or toaster on request. The StopOver room has a king size bed, suitable for a maximum of 2 guests, there is a 32-inch smart tv with Netflix, small sitting area, ensuite with overhead rain shower and small outdoor deck. The StopOver room is not pet friendly.

Southview is a boutique holiday accommodation which offers two fully self-contained suites, the Seaview suite and Garden suite. We also offer our StopOver room, a room only with ensuite. The StopOver room has no cooking or eating facilities. We are nestled between Sandon Point Beach and Bulli Beach. All accommodation is located under the same roof space, but all are fully private and separate, with their own private entrances. Each accommodation is on a different level of our 4-storey split level home where we live with our two young daughters. Rated 4 stars by AAA Tourism, Southview is a perfect place for you to unwind and relax. Your holiday destination offers a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere with ocean and mountain views from the Seaview suite.

 It’s just a 2-minute walk to Sandon Point beach and a close walk along the beach to Bulli beach and café’s. Catch the beautiful sunrise over the ocean or perhaps a surf at Sandon Point beach which is listed as one of Australia’s top surfing breaks. Enjoy a coastal walk or perhaps a bike ride along the beach track which goes to Wollongong and beyond. Bulli Beach café and Ruby’s café by the beach and Bulli beach pool are all close by. Explore national parks or local bushland, or simply chill out by our heated spa plunge pool. 

Bulli is approximately an hour’s drive south of Sydney airport and is 15 minutes north of the Wollongong CBD. Originally established as a coal mining town in the 1850s, Bulli is also known as the “Black Diamond District”. It is a historic part of the Northern Illawarra that enjoys pristine sunshine.
